15 Steel Coasters I Want to Ride Soon

There are so many steel roller coasters in the world. There are just thousands of them. I have recently been thinking about the coasters I want to ride, and many of them are steel, so I wanted to rank them.

Now, I am not going to be including any hybrids on this list, so no iBox coasters or anything like that. I am willing to include coasters under construction, but it has to be something I can realistically get to in the next 5 years. Now, let's get into this.

#15: Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast at Six Flags Over Texas/Six Flags St. Louis

I have heard some good things about these rides. They look very intense and I think that I could expect some hangtime on the ride. I don't know when I can get to either of them, but I hope to get to them soon.

#14: Intimidator at Carowinds

This looks like a fun hyper. It is a B&M Hyper, which are known for floater airtime throughout the ride. This is lower, though, because I much prefer ejector over floater airtime.

#13: Raging Bull at Six Flags Great America

This is another B&M Hyper, but it is known for more ejector airtime than the other B&M Hypers. I think that I could enjoy this more than Intimidator, but not by much.

#12: Magnum XL 200 at Cedar Point

This ride looks like it is very fun. It is known for its ejector airtime at the end, but it is also known to be rough. I don't mind rougher rides if they don't cause a headache and if they have fun elements, though, so I don't think I'd mind the roughness.

#11: Tatsu at Six Flags Magic Mountain

This ride looks like one of the most intense rides by B&M. It is known for some extreme Gs during the pretzel loop, and I think that I might enjoy the flying sensation. It looks like a fun, large scale ride that I'd enjoy.

#11: Orion at Kings Island

This looks better than Diamondback (which isn't on the list), but I don't think it would stack up to some of the other rides on the list. It appears to have a good mix of positives and negatives. I also think that I'd enjoy the feeling of speed during the entire ride.

#10: Mako at SeaWorld Orlando

This looks like the best B&M Hyper Coaster, though I don't think it will be the best overall B&M. It is known for good floater airtime, which I would enjoy, but it probably isn't going to be the best B&M.

#9: Banshee at Kings Island

This looks like the best of the B&M Inverts. It appears to be very intense. I really enjoy inversions, so this ride is definitely for someone like me. I will probably like the newer vest restraints. I think that this ride will be incredible and will be the best inverted coaster in the US.

#8: Maxx Force at Six Flags Great America

I'll be honest: I love launches. I've only ridden on Skyrocket's launch, and that is usually considered to not be that forceful. This launch is often considered very forceful, though. I already feel like I'm going to die when riding Skyrocket's launch, so I look forward to riding the one on Maxx Force. The layout also includes some high-speed inversions, which I think that I will love.

#7: Valravn at Cedar Point

This ride looks to be one of the best dive coasters ever. I think that I will enjoy this a lot, but I don't think that it will be that intense. I also don't expect much airtime. I just think that this will be a lot of fun.

#6: Intimidator 305 at Kings Dominion

This ride is known to be one of the most intense coasters in the world. It is known for being intense, and mostly just for being intense. It appears to have an amazing layout. I can't wait to ride this in the future.

#5: Maverick at Cedar Point

This looks like a better rounded version of Intimidator 305. This has inversions and launches. This appears to have better theming. It is also known for having some good airtime.

#4: Railblazer at California's Great America and Wonder Woman at Six Flags Fiesta Texas

These rides look really good. I honestly can't wait to ride these. I think that they will have some intense ejector airtime, laterals, hangtime, and some decent restraints. I think that I'll love these rides.

#3: Stunt Pilot at Silverwood

This is the exact same layout of Railblazer, which is a mirrored version of Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster. The main difference here, though, is that Stunt Pilot has longer trains, so it will probably be more whippy in the back than the other Raptors.

#2: VelociCoaster at Universal Studios' Islands of Adventures

VelociCoaster is coming to Islands of Adventure next year. It is going to have tons of theming. This Intamin Blitz Coaster looks to have tons of laterals and airtime. It appears to have great pacing during the day test runs. Some people are saying that this may be the best coaster in the world, but I think that one US coaster may be better.

#1: Fury 325

This looks like it could be the best coaster in the world. It looks very long, it has tons of airtime moments, and it has tons of low-to-the-ground sections. I really love feelings of speed, so I think that I'd love it. The fast sections I love are at 60 Miles per Hour, and Fury's fast sections are upwards of 95 Miles per Hour. This would just be amazing, so I think that this could be my #1.
