Kennywood has 8 different coasters and a pretty large collection of flat rides. Some of these coasters, though, use the ravine, which can make it harder to get footage. Today, I wanted to look at some places that you can get footage of most coasters at Kennywood.
For this, I won't be looking at Exterminator or Lil' Phantom.
Now, let's look at some places that you can get footage.
We are going to sort each coaster based on when it opened (oldest to youngest).
First, let's talk about Jack Rabbit.
First off, there is the obvious area of the queue. There, you can get good views of the first drop and the double down.
Next, there is the area in front of the Midway food stand. There, you can get some good views of the turn off the lift.
3rd, there is the area in front of the Paddle Boats. This allows you to get some views of the station and the lift.
Finally, there are some areas in the Jackrabbit Picnic Groves that you can get footage.
To get to the Jackrabbit Picnic Groves, just walk straight from the entrance. Then, turn right directly past the entrance for The Old Mill.
Next, let's talk about Racer. Unfortunately, there are not many places to get footage of Racer.
One area that you can get a good view of Racer between the shooting midway game and the Steelers Country entrance.

Next, there is the end of the queue. This can only get you a few seconds worth of footage. This can get you some footage of the first turn out of the station.
The final area is Steel Curtain's queue. You can get some good views of Racer from there, just in a lot of areas in the layout.
Next, there is Thunderbolt.
First, there is from the area by Thunderbolt's station. There is a small area there that you can sit at, and you can. get views of the helix and drop there.
Next, there is the seating by Potato Patch. There, you can get more views of the helix and drop.
Next, there is the area by Turtle, where you can see the areas in the ravine.
Finally, there are views from Phantom's queue.
Next, let's talk about Phantom's Revenge.
One quick honorable mention is from Kennywood's area of the Greater Allegheny Passageway. This is one of the only places that you can get views of Phantom's second drop.
The first place that I want to talk about that is IN Kennywood is from the queue. There are tons of views of Phantom from there. You can see the second drop, the first drop, the camelback, the lift, the straight section, parts of the turnaround, and parts of the finale.

The next place I want to talk about is from Kennyville. From Kennyville, you can see parts of the turnaround and the lift hill. You can get more unique of views here.
Next, there is in Volcano Alley and in Lost Kennywood. Here, you can get more views of the first drop, lift, straight section, camelback, and parts of the finale.
Finally, there are views from Thunderbolt's queue. These are some views that you can only see from Thunderbolt's queue. These views are just some views of the turnaround.
Next, there is Skyrocket. You can easily get views of most of it.
First, there is the area between Skyrocket and The Old Mill. You can get views of the twists and the turn into the airtime hills.
Next, there is the area between Gran Prix and Skyrocket. Here, you can see the turn out of the station and parts of the launch.
Finally, there is the queue. Here, you can get views of everything in the layout.

The final coaster to talk about is Steel Curtain.
The first area is in front of the Steelers Country entrance. Here, you can get views of the Drop, Camelback, Double Up, and the Corkscrew.
Next, there is the bridge over the lagoon. Here, you can get great views of the dive loop.
Another place that you can get footage from is the Queue. This allows you to get views of most of the inversions.
Similarly to the queue, you can get some good footage of the ride from the exit. This is better, though, because you don't need to worry about nets blocking the view.
Finally, you can get some footage from the Train ride in Thomas Town.
