In 2020, Conneaut Lake Park didn't open at all. Recently, people have been worried about Conneaut Lake Park possibly closing. In this hypothetical situation, I want to talk about what I would do if my family bought the park.
This will start with the reopening in 2021. Since the park only likes running one train on Blue Streak, it will exclusively run with the Vettel train, as those are better than Century Flyers (based on my experiences on Jackrabbit and Thunderbolt at Kennywood). When we would acquire the park, we would also work on repairing benches and we would plant trees around the park.
For 2022, there would be a major renovation on Blue Streak. This will involve retracking most of the ride, getting a new ride system, and getting new Timberliner trains from Gravity Group. The ride has gotten a bad reputation of being a very rough ride. The goal here would be making the ride much better. The ride has an airtime based layout, and I want it to provide some good, fun airtime. These 2 new Timberliner trains will likely be lighter than the Century Flyers.
For 2022, I would also reopen Toboggan. Toboggan will help get more rides into the park.
For 2023, I will add a new flat ride. I'm thinking that something like a Zamperla Mega Disko or Disko "Coaster".
For 2024, I would add another new coaster. This will probably be a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter or Infinity Coaster. This will be similar to something like Iron Shark, Tantrum, or Hangtime.
For 2025, we will add a Family Wooden Coaster from Gravity Group. This will be a similar model to Roar-o-Saurus. This would add a good family coaster to the lineup. Thrill Seekers would enjoy it, families would enjoy it, kids would enjoy it. It would be a good new addition.
For 2026, we will add a Larson Super Loop. This will be a newer model, and it would be a well-loved flat ride. It will hopefully make the park more popular.
For 2027, I will add a Vekoma Suspended Thrill Coaster. This is Vekoma's new generation SLC with Lap Bars. With the positive reception of Hals-über Kopf at Dripsdrill, I would want one coming to the US, and I would certainly add one to my park.
For 2028, I will add the park's biggest addition yet: a Vekoma MC1340 Skydash. This is Vekoma's conceptual Hyper Coaster. They wanted to install one at Energylandia, but Energylandia built an Intamin Mega Coaster for Hyperion. Here's a link to their renderings of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFQaFSs7PmE
In 2029, the park will start acquiring other parks. These parks may include Camden Park (West Virginia's largest Amusement Park), Kennywood, and Lakeside Park (an amusement park in Denver).
In 2030, there will be a major renovation to the park. This will include new dining, a renovation of the Hotel Conneaut, repainting all of the rides that need it, adding a parking structure, getting actual bathrooms, getting new shops, and cleaning up the park in general. This will also involve adding some new rides. These rides will include an E&F Miler Hi-Miler,
a Premier Rides Skyrocket II, and a Vekoma Giant Inverted Boomerang. This will mean that the park will have a better overall lineup.
In the end, there will be several new additions. This may make the park one of the best in the world. There will be many new additions, and I think that people will start going to the park more often.
