In March of 2020, I was bored. It was the beginning of Quarantine. For around 3 weeks, I had no school, and when school restarted, it was so easy to do. It took only a few hours to get all of my work done for the entire week. I needed something to make everything more bearable. I had been watching the NoLimits 2 series by Xscream Thrills, and that inspired me to get NoLimits 2.
I had some money on my Steam account, so I used that to get the game. It was cheaper than Planet Coaster, and I didn't want RCT, so NL2 was a good option. It was hard to learn at first, but I got the hang of it.
I'm going to start this series with some screenshots of my first ever NL2 park.
The first coaster I want to show is called Terra. This is a 500+ foot tall B&M Terra Coaster. I designed it before I knew what I was doing, so this was a learning experience for me. It was my first NL2 Coaster. Recently, I checked, and it pulled over 15 negative G forces. That is around 5 times the human limit. I wanted to make traditional trains, but then it crashed, so I had to make 1 train with 25 cars. As you'll be able to see in the screenshots, the ride is super janky.
The day after I finished Terra, I started my next coaster. I had recently become interested in Six Flags New Orleans, so I named the next coaster after one of SFNO's coasters: The Jester. This name was slightly changed to Jester's Revenge. Jester's Revenge is a Premier Rides LIM Launch Coaster model. The ride is just janky and hard to see what is even happening. I didn't take many screenshots, though, so here's a picture of the launch track.
After that, I don't know the orders of what I made, so I am just going to show some of the pictures.
I do want to say, though, that I deleted the top 2 coasters a few months before I took these screenshots. I made a Dueling Wooden Coaster that used GCI trains and an RMC Giga Hybrid. I don't know what I was thinking there.
I hope you enjoyed all this crap I made. Luckily, I have improved my work over time. Now, my rides are not janky and have realistic forces.
