Whip Review at Kennywood (Pre-Season 2021)

Whip is a classic flat ride at Kennywood. The ride is pretty popular to this day and is one of my favorite flat rides there. Today, I wanted to review this classic flat ride model. Does it stack up nowadays? By the end, I think that you'll understand why I love this ride.

Part 1: Forces

This ride pulls some decent forces. Now, it isn't meant for Airtime. The forces are all positives and laterals. The ride pulls really good forces during and right after the turns. The forces then are amazing.

For forces, this ride gets a 7/10. The forces aren't perfect, but they are great for what the ride is meant for.

Part 2: Restraints

These restraints are perfect for this ride. The only restraint is a lap bar that doesn't even lock. That lap bar is just a thin metal bar that only stays in place because of the positive Gs. It provides more space than PTC Buzz Bars or even Vettel Trains.

These restraints easily get a 10/10.

Part 3: Re-rideability

Whip at Kennywood is very re-rideable. The ride is completely smooth. The restraints are good. The ride is fun. I haven't marathoned many rides at Kennywood (since I worry that I'll get bored), but this is one that I can marathon while having as much fun each and every time.

For Re-rideability, this model gets a 10/10.

Final Scores:

This ride gets a 9/10. Considering when this was made and the audience it was meant for, this is a very good score. The score fits. I love this ride and I hope that it, along with every ride in Lost Kennywood, can stay for as long as possible.
